Once a month, Daniel has drill weekend with the Air National Guard—and this past weekend was when he was scheduled for it—so I spent a lot of time catching up on things around the house, painting my mom's nails (and mine, for those of you who have been asking!), and enjoying a bit of time alone.

After church yesterday, I had such a fun time taking these pictures because Daniel's dad came with me to be my photographer! It put the biggest smile on my face to get to spend this time with his parents. These train tracks run right through our town, and there are always different boxcars coming and going, so you never know what you'll find—if anything at all—so when we pulled up and found this awesome graffiti pattern, we knew it was "the spot." His dad posed me & worked the camera—it was a blast. His mom stayed on the sidelines and took photos of us taking photos... and those are absolutely priceless. I'm so thankful for Daniel's family... it's just wonderful to be so loved.

PS // Snag that tribal print tank while you can—it's from Kintage & their items go fast!

So cute! Love the tank! Found your blog a couple of weeks ago when I was searching for other bloggers who have trich. I've had it since I was 6 (now 32). For the last couple of years I'd kind of given up trying to fight it. But seeing your blog and a few others has motivated me to take up the fight again. I haven't said anything about my trich on my blog and don't know if I ever will, but it helps to read and connect to others who are having the same experiences I am. For a long time, I feel like I was all alone and the only person in the world dealing with it. I didn't realize it was an actual disease until I saw Oprah talk about it on her show when I was 21. All growing up I just felt like there was something wrong with me. It's helped to read your blog.
