Follow Aunie Sauce with Bloglovin'!

Follow with Bloglovin

I'm not sure how you read my blog, but if you're an RSS person, you most likely have heard that as of July 1, Google is discontinuing my old favorite, Google Reader. After hearing the news, I switched all the blogs I follow over to Bloglovin'. I love it because you can see the blog's layout while you read their posts and you can leave a comment directly on their post from that screen.

If you're joining me and making the switch, click here to import your RSS blog queue to Bloglovin'. Click "Google Reader" (or your RSS method), then "Import from Google Reader," select your account, click "Accept," and you're all set. I switched all mine over manually when I did it, and wish I would have known about this neat little trick!

If you haven't already, click here to follow my blog via Bloglovin', or consider subscribing via a different RSS, keeping up with post updates on Facebook, connect with me on Twitter, or even add my posts to your inbox. And in case that isn't easy enough, click the button below and it will take you straight there.

Follow on Bloglovin

And now I'm curious... how do you read & keep up with my blog?

I am a brand new Bloglovin addict. Leaving comments was so much more tedious with Google Reader and now I get to see the pretty blog designs!

I wish I would have known about Bloglovin' when i first started blogging! I've lost contact with so many other bloggers because of following so many others from Google Reader. Bloglovin' is amazing, I love being able to separate all the blogs into categories - you're in my "Blogs I Love" tab but you could also be put in my "Army Wives" tab.

I tried Bloglovin but it just wasn't my cup of tea. When I heard that Google Reader was going away I decided to make the switch to feedly, and that's how I'm following you now! I feel terrible saying this, but one of my favorite parts about using an RSS is that I don't have to load different website layouts for every blog I read (I'm so plain jane and all about text and images), so I wanted somewhere that kept this part of Google Reader. You do have to leave feedly to comment, but that's okay, I don't mind giving pageviews to blogs I like enough to comment on ;).

Bloglovin. It's the way to go. I've used it for awhile and I'm pretty comfortable with it. I know a lot of people use feedly. I guess it's just a matter of preference. ;)

I used to agree with you about Bloglovin v Feedly, but I have to say that I think Bloglovin is really trying to change and get up to speed and become user friendly. The changes it's made have been good so far, so I hope it'll get even better, because amongst lifestyle blogs it does seem to be the RSS reader of choice.

You're so sweet! Thank you thank you! I forgot all about the categories... I know Google Reader had something like that, but I didn't utilize it until I moved my reading to BL. Aw, Army Wives group... that makes me smile, but not as much as the fact that I'm in the Blogs You Love category!

Thank you so much, Kristina! I'm so glad you like Bloglovin' too... and following my blog! Ha!

Thanks Sara!! I didn't want to forget and miss the chance to remind people. You just never know how many blogs a person might read... for instance, my mom ONLY reads mine, so she might not know about the switch :)

PS Love your new blog design!

You're awesome, Kelly! Thank you so much!

And I appreciate it, let me tell you! I know what you mean about some blogs taking forever to load... I think mine might be one of those because I use rather large photos... I apologize if it does! The benefit about not having to see everyone's sites is you don't get all the fluff... just the good content!! :)

I agree, I think a lot of people use feedly... but just like you, Bloglovin works great for me!

I want to make sure I never miss a post!

I think you're right! They have stepped it up... we don't have to see the bloglovin layout window if we don't want to... but like i said, I love it!

Annelise Rowe said...

I think you just might be one of my most faithful friends in the reading/commenting areas. You never miss a beat and I love you for it. Thanks for making me feel loved!

Haha, your blog is the one that I Always remember to go read. Everyday at work after I do my post, I run to your blog to see what's happened! It's like a daily ritual!

That's my favorite thing ever! I always do my catching up on my lunch break :)

Yeah, I have a lot more free time in my job to read blogs than I did at school, crazy!
