Leopard Top and Neon Accessories

I bought this leopard & faux leather top at Apricot Lane back in July. I knew it was too warm at the moment, but—here it is, my first mention of it—with fall inching closer and closer to us, I knew it would be a purchase that I wouldn't regret.

Also, you might recognize my flats... they're the sisters to my other Fit in Clouds pair, and they're the cutest little flats that you can fold up and stick in your purse. These would have been the perfect pair to tuck into your bag during Fashion Week—but for me, I prefer to just wear them all the time! No heels needed.

Pairing this whole black & white outfit with some bright neon accessories added the perfect pop. Also, my earrings are from a little shop called Love Obsessed, and all her pieces are made with vintage materials and are one-of-a-kind. A few pieces of jewelry similar to mine can be found here, here, and here, but hurry because once they're gone—they're gone!

This is such a great look! And I'm definitely tracking down some of those flats. A girl can't have too many cute flats.

I forgot how cute that top is! Really like the leatherette shoulder accents. That'll be so cozy to wear as it gets colder!

I'm a flats person too. I have a bunch of heels, and I do enjoy wearing them, but when it comes down to it I'm a "comfy" person so the flats are perfect.
Love the "ballet" pose with the shoes by the way, lol!

That top is rather cute! Loving the leatherette accents. I purchased a hounds-tooth and leatherette accent blazer but won't be able to wear it until December...unfortunately for us, it still doesn't get that cold in December.

Oh oh oh! Love those flats!!

You always look good. I love that top, so cute. Plus I remember those shoes and you are really making want to get my own pair. I also am checking out that shop. I love one of a kind!

I am so curious about your fashion tips. I am curious about your budget for fashion/beauty, if you have one. Those would be so good posts.

CUTE! SO CUTE!

Love it all.

I am a little jealous that you are still in shorts.
We had a FROST Advisory today.
I have long socks on, a sweater, and arm warmers under the sweater...
It's BRRRRRR

You look gorgeous! Absolutely love that top.

Aw, thanks Kelly!!! That's honestly very nice of you to say :)

Annelise Rowe said...

Thanks Laura! I wish they weren't one of a kind sometimes so people could buy them :)

Annelise Rowe said...

I agree with you! And the fact that they fold and fit in your purse? Bonus!

Annelise Rowe said...

I know! I can't wait. And the nice part is that it's still a lighter-weight fabric so I can start wearing it now... yay!

Annelise Rowe said...

Oh thanks! I figured it was a little different than the usual flats shot :)

Annelise Rowe said...

No kidding. You have such the life with your nice weather... though it does get rather hot there in summer!

Annelise Rowe said...

Thanks!!! I like the neon, too. It's not enough that it blinds you, but fun enough that you notice it :) Thanks again!

You're so sweet!! I know, my favorite store, Apricot Lane, only buys things in quantities of 6, 2 L's, 2 M's and 2 S's. And once they're gone, they're gone. So sad!

Annelise Rowe said...

Thanks Krysten!!! It's subtle, but NOT ... you know, since it's neon :)

Cody, thanks a bunch! You know what's funny? I don't spend a lot on clothes. At all. I'll maybe buy 1-2 new things every few months, and I buy them all at once... like 2 shirts and maybe a pair of pants or pair of shoes all at once and then I'm done for a bit. I try to not spend money on clothes, if at all possible. Plus, I don't really enjoy shopping, so it's a win/win! :) But I can still add it to a list of things to post about :) thanks for the suggestion!

Annelise Rowe said...

Well you're so sweet for saying that, thanks Shannon!

Annelise Rowe said...

Thanks a bunch, Megan. Making me smile over here :)

Thank you thank you! The rest of the family tends to think my shorts are too short, so I appreciate it :) ha!

WHAAATTT? OK, to be fair, I took those photos on Sunday and it was about 80. But today the high is only mid-60's.. so it's definitely cooling down, and fast!

Annelise Rowe said...

Thanks Rebekah!! It's comfy and stylish, can't beat it :) Wish they still had it in stock!

Annelise Rowe said...

And Carly, they're so comfortable! They're a great break from heels and you can fold them and put them in your purse. I have 3 pairs now!

Cody Doll said...

Your welcome. I remember you mentioning that. Is that what you do for your running outfits too? I really need to go through my closet and just keep key pieces. I just don't know what key pieces are. haha.

Annelise Rowe said...

Yes! With running clothes, the only reason I buy new ones is for races... I usually buy one new outfit to race in (so I can match my mom) and then after a while, we accumulate a bunch of new outfits :)

PS> Key pieces are your FAVORITES. The ones you can wear that either A. make a statement or B. can be layered over or under many things :)

Cody Doll said...

Wow. That's pretty awesome.

All my favorites are random pieces that hardly match anything. Course that might just be the way I think.
