I'm wearing more "Idaho" in this photo than I've ever worn before. The shirt is from an adorable online boutique called Handmade Escapade (she makes shirts for every state, and they're amazing). The little state of Idaho necklace is from Maya Brenner, and the authentic Idaho state license plate purse is from the sweetest girl ever named Lauren who just wanted to send a little love my way via snail mail one day. Her package that arrived in my PO box meant so much... she was just cleaning out her closet one day, stumbled upon this funky purse, and thought that I needed to have it. I thought it was so thoughtful!

I just love Idaho. Come for a visit?

That shirt rocks. I have a Michigan shirt and a hoodie that takes the word LOVE and turns the V into the silhouette of Michigan on its side. I love them so much. Home pride for sure!

I am definitely going to need this Idaho shirt! It is adorable. Have you seen the ones where it's a map of the usa and Idaho is blacked out? I love that one too! I need to wear a little bit of Idaho pride when I visit my family in California this summer.

Your hair is growing so long and so fast! I swear it wasn't this long last week! I just looked up the Florida shirt, pretty adorable!

Kindness is the best accessory,
Rebecca

I have a Kentucky one, but I bought it about 12-14 years ago. If I'm not mistaken, it might have been around $50-75+. Not really sure. Now, I wish I could find mine. It's at my mom's house somewhere :-(

I love it!!! So much state pride! And how adorable is that purse?!!

Both! I've lived in 6 different states and consider Idaho my home since I've been here now for 11 years... I can't believe it's been that long already! But seriously, get both!

I'm a little too over the top, maybe. But that's OK by me! :-)

I never know which state I should call home... I was raised in Minnesota and have so much love for that state. But I've lived in Wisconsin for years now and it is home too. What's a girl to do?!

I have been coveting one of those Idaho necklaces for a while now. So beautiful!

Eek I'm not sure! I suggest emailing or calling them: Phone: (412) 471-0909 info@littlearth.com. One of my reader friends Lauren sent me the purse but it had been stashed in her closet for a while. She figured I would love it better than someone at a thrift shop. I wasn't actually in contact with the brand... but you're right, it would make the BEST gift!!

And a Stetson? :)

Ah, nope. Not yet.

It will happen. You just wait :)

This is sooo cute! I love all the elements of this outfit. I have a bag that looks just like that. Only problem, I can't fit a book inside so it doesn't get used. I don't even know what state it is. haha. If I see mine is Idaho, you can proudly have two.

Annelise Rowe said...

That's awesome! And you're right, the purse is pretty small... big enough for my wallet, phone and glasses :)

I would love to come visit you! Those shirts are cute. I am not sure how I would feel wearing an Indiana one. People may make fun of me. Still, they are adorable.

Annelise Rowe said...

No way! Indiana is great! :)

I need to figure out how to make a license plate purse from my old plates! That is too cool!

Thanks Martha! That would be a great DIY!
