Denim on denim... I like it! It's casual, it's relaxed, and with the two contrasting colors—it works. I added a pop of yellow with the ribbon wrap flats and big earrings. Oh, and that purse? The perfect finishing touch. Is it just me, or do I match the Boise skyline?

On a side (and much more important) note, just sending out lots of love to the families affected by the Boston bombings yesterday. Daniel and I are praying hard for you!

The skyline is gorgeous! You are very lucky to live in such a BEAUTIFUL AREA!

I am always unsure about conflicting denim colors... I guess it's a confidence thing. Haha.
Advice?

That bag is adorable! I do jean-on-jean sometimes, I just make sure one is light and one is dark!

I don't like denim-on-denim, but part of that is because I just don't like light denim anyway. I do, however, love your shoes.

I love those shoes! I have yet to try the denim on denim look. I've given it a lot of thought and I don't think I am ready...haha.

So pretty! I love jean on jean when done right, and I'm kicking myself for getting rid of my jean jacket. Now I have to buy a new one!

Well, since this is probably the first time I've ever worn jean on jean... it's hard to think of advice except for just go for it! I love the idea of pairing two different colors of denim. If they're too similar, then it's just weird! Give it a shot :)

Thank you! I'm not usually a fan of light denim on the bottom... but this jacket was a good pick. I've worn it so much! And thanks about the shoes. So comfy!

Just try it! I promise, it's easy... just do light and dark and you're set :)
