Fog

Skirt: c/o LulaRoe (use coupon ROWE for 10% off) // Scarf: c/o Kintage // Ring: c/o The Vintage Pearl // Purse: Fossil // Shoes: Vans // Glasses: c/o Firmoo // Top: The Shore Lodge

 In a fog.
Walking alone.
Clouded, stranded, astray.

So it seems.

This is where the path has gone.
This is just a moment in time.
This is where I'm supposed to be.

The fog will clear.
The sun will return.
I will find my way again.

An original poem - 2.4.2013

A simple reflection poem for any of you who may be having a hard time, feel lost, or feel like you're in over your head.
The fog is only temporary. Keep your head up, you are loved!

I'm a huge fan of stripes - especially striped maxi skirts! I have a black + white one that I can't wear enough. That last picture is my favorite! So whimsical + pretty :) xoxo, eliza

Gorgeous pictures, however, aren't you cold?!
I love the poem you put with it, it's so true. Always look for the end of the fog!

You look so delicate. But you're shoes must've been ruined! And I like your poem. Very simple and true.

The shoes are in perfect condition. Wearing them as I type. The snow was super dry/icy. And just in that one spot... there wasn't snow like that anywhere else!

You are such a beautiful person Aunie. I love that you aren't afraid to get real with us, and I hope you know how much I appreciate it. Life can be hard, but that doesn't mean it isn't great. I <3 you. Also, I heart these photos (as always). xoxoxo

I'm so impressed that you can walk around in the snow without wearing a parka. lol I'm from Houston so 60 degrees feels like the middle of winter for me. I can't image what it's like to live with snow! lol! :) I love your poem. And your outfit is adorable!

Hi Tina! If that's the poem that you need today, then yes, yes I did :) And thank you for being so sweet!

Joelle, thank you so much. I'm always so open, and sometimes I may come off as "vague" or "irrelevant" ... but this is my space where I come to write/vent/be me... so thank you SO MUCH for seeing it as real and very "me." I appreciate that so much.
