Sapphire and Faded Jeans

Top: c/o Kintage // Jeans: Express // Boots: Runway Fashion Exchange // Bracelet: Gift

It's amazing how sometimes in the hardest of moments, a simple lyric, quote or thought can get you through it. Summer might not be here quite yet, but these lyrics are so sweet. You go ahead and let your hair down, relax, and give a hug to the loved ones around you. Life is good—even on the hard days.

"Three little birds, sat on my window.
And they told me I don't need to worry.
Summer came like cinnamon
So sweet,
Little girls double-dutch on the concrete.

Maybe sometimes, we've got it wrong, but it's alright.
The more things seem to change, the more they stay the same.
Oh, don't you hesitate.

Girl, put your records on, tell me your favorite song,
You go ahead, let your hair down.
Sapphire and faded jeans, I hope you get your dreams,
Just go ahead, let your hair down.

You're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow."

-"Put Your Records On" by Corinne Bailey Rae

I love that song! Side question- did you not get an actual wedding band to go along with your gorgeous engagement ring? If so, I am contemplating doing the same thing, but am not sure.
