365-Days.

Photo: Taylor Love Studios // hair curled with this method

Day 365.

Today.

The. Last. Day.
of Bye Bye Beehive.

I can't believe just one-year ago I was typing up my Day 1 post.
I was beginning an adventure and I had no idea where it would take me.
And yet, I'm still here.
I didn't die because I didn't have big, teased, helmet-hard hair.
In fact, these days I like my hair more than ever.

I'm getting my hair "done" today.
Done = measured, trimmed, washed and ... styled.
No color changes. No drastic cuts. No little face-framing highlights.
Nothing.
To be honest, I love my hair these days.
Maybe it's the more natural me, the more easy-going version, the true version.
It's just me.

I love it.

Virtual high-five.

PS> Will you vote for me? (And pretty please share?!) Voting ends tomorrow! Help get me to the Top 10 ♥

I think your bye-bye-beehive is such a cool endeavour, and that your hair looks gorgeous when you're styling it naturally! Which I am a big proponent of (mostly because I don't take the time to actually style my hair...) congrats! Heading over to vote for you!

perfectly priya

I think it's great that you made it...you inspired me to my own no heat styling month in summer and my hair loved me for it.

Dude! I'm a space cadet because I didn't see this Bye Bye Beehive awesomeness til now. And I never woulda guessed, because your hair always looks amazing in the last several months since I've been following. So SERIOUS high five for looking so stellar without any product or heat or anything! I'm quite impressed. And your hair on Instagram looked lovely, BTW. :) AND I voted for your gorgeous self, too. XO!

Woohoo! You made it! :D

I've only had my hair "done" once. A really bad idea perm in 3rd grade (we're talking poodle hair) that I've never done ever again. No highlights, no other chemical processes, nothin'.

Once every 6 weeks I get my trim. Wash, condition, massage, cut, style and dry, lash tint, brow wax. That's the only time my hair sees a dryer or flat iron or a curler. (I love the way it looks but I don't love how long it takes me to replicate on my own. Bah.) I do use a bit of Kenra Curl Defining Creme 5 to help keep the frizzies away. And I love it! Wash, condition, brush through, towel dry, bit o Kenra, brush through and off I go. Seriously the way to go!
