38-Days.

Well, that handsome man flew off to Texas yesterday.
I know it's only about six weeks
(38 days to be exact),
but who's counting?

That doesn't mean I didn't cry like a baby when he left.
And all afternoon.
And a little before bed, too.

So, Daniel,
I know you'll read this sometime today after school,
and I just want you to know I love you.
You're my best friend.
I'll be back in your arms sooner than we know it.

Dustin has been gone since June 30th, and I don't get to see him again until Mid-December and only for a few weeks :( Then we have to go from the beginning on January to June!

waaaahhh!

I know how you feel with Daniel, but when he gets back it will be amazing :) And the distance makes the appreciation for each other so much stronger!

being apart is no fun - ben and i were separated the 5.5 weeks before the wedding and it was torture ...but good in a lot of ways too. We had to focus on verbal communication which improved a lot during that time and learned to love and appreciate each other even more. good luck and i hope you turn it into the positive experience it can be!

I hope these next few weeks fly by for you! I know how hard it is to have your man gone for long periods of time.

It will fly! When my husband got on at the railroad they sent him to Georgia for six weeks. It was tough but so worth it. Think of it as an investment into your future. As much as you miss him, it makes you appreciate and love him even more. :)

I know 38 days sounds like a long time, but it will probably fly by. He'll be home before you know it!

Awww girl, I kind of know how you feel. My parents came to visit me at school this past weekend, and I won't see my family for six weeks either! I realize it's a little bit bigger deal when it's your fiance, but either way, hang in there! You'll be in his arms before you know it!

It's only 38 days, you can do it! I've said goodbye for this long before, cried when he left, throughout the time he was away and again when I picked him up. The homecoming makes it all ok!

For a year I lived in Oregon while my boyfriend was in school in Ohio. I saw him three times a year for one week to three weeks. I bawled like a baby every time we parted. It is just a show of our deep connections.

The goodbyes are always hard for me. But the reunions are always wonderful :)

I know it will be tough, but you can get through it! Nick and I were separated for 5 months only 3 weeks after we got married, but once it's over-- it's over! You can do it :)

P.S. where is he in Texas?!
