Things I Don't Do

Top: Express // Scarf: Burlington Coat Factory // Glasses: c/o Firmoo

I don't:
  1. enjoy shopping.
  2. show up on time—ever.
  3. schedule blog posts—this is how I blog.
  4. ever regret eating a delicious bowl of macaroni and cheese—but if it's only sub-par? Double cardio day for sure.
  5. call Daniel "hubs." He's just Daniel.
  6. feel comfortable in big crowds.
  7. leave the house without making the bed.
  8. guilt Daniel into being in photos for this blog... it's just not his thing.
  9. love accessorizing. I'm a fan of very minimal jewelry.
  10. plan outfits around blog posts—which is why you see an awful lot of repeats.
  11. Instagram often. Oops.
  12. look forward to winter—spring, are you here yet?
  13. plan on making it an official link-up, but a revival of Thursday 13? I'm thinking about it. If you do a T13 post of your own, link up your post in the comments!

Not enjoy shopping? That's my Mom. I'm going to visit her in July and she says that she's going to wait on all family shopping till then so that I can help her get through it. :P I don't quite understand the concept on not enjoying shopping. I'm not a huge spender, but I love the mall and looking at pretty things and people....

Oh my goodness. So, about accessorizing. I left for school (subbing) on Tuesday. I'd barely left the driveway and realized I hadn't accessorized. My day just took off from there. Lol.
And, I rarely schedule blogs...although, the idea is nice.

Love your outfit!!! Cute scarf!

I never show up on time or schedule posts either. Both of those things would be entirely too out of character for me to even consider them! :) The bed-making thing, though? I should probably take a lesson from you on that one.

I try to schedule posts, but I never actually get around to doing it. I wrote this morning's post on my phone in class. Totally understand your lack of planning! And that scarf looks adorable. Can I come raid your closet? Everything you have is amazing!

I think if I was ever on time for anything, my husband would fall on the ground with sobs of joy. Fashionably late all the way! haha

I can say I only enjoy shopping if I know exactly what I need. I hate mindless wandering. So boring.

Great post! I hate big crowds as well. And its good that you don`t make him be in photos for the blog- especially if he`s willing to snap a few photos for you- that's more than enough :-)

I don't schedule posts either. I mean, I do, to go up at exactly 6:30 at night, but I write them all that day! Bring back Thursday 13, I loved those :)

1. You look so cute in that picture, and I love that colorful scarf!
2. I feel ya on the winter thing, but that's why I love Florida so much, and don't ever plan to move to far away...
3. This is a fun idea for a post, and also for a link-up!

I don't schedule blog posts either but that's mainly because its purpose doesn't allow for it. Big crowds are one of my worst nightmares and I'm not winter's biggest fan either.

Afraid to say I very often leave the house without making my bed though.

I wasn't here for the original Thursday 13 but anything that has lists and random information is good with me. I'll be clicking through your posts this evening. [In a non-creepy way. Obv.]

Haha I'm so terrible at scheduling blog posts too - which is REALLY something I should do since my schedule seems to get too busy too fast. Love this way of getting to know more about you!

Same about the whole jewelry thing. sometimes I just feel pressured from other people to accessorize which is just plaing stupid.

I'm never on time either and I hate hate HATE the word "hubs". I'm SO glad I'm not alone here :)

OK seriously we have a lot in common. I thought I was reading about myself. My biggest problem is I am late for everything. I have have my clocks set 5 minutes ahead to try to be on time. Yeah, doesn't help. I know they are 5 min ahead...

Yes, to 1, 2, and 3 for sure! I do call my spouse hubby on the blog, but we don't do nicknames in real life.
Can't say I'm good at making my bed though.

i don't enjoy shopping either! especially for pants... ugh, it just makes me mad. and i don't particularly like accessorizing. minimal is also my thing. however... i never -ever- make my bed. i don't know why, i just can't. that's the only thing in my life that i can handle being untidy. everything else has to be tidy, like, obsessively tidy.

I was agreeing with a lot of these–until you got to the bed making. I DON'T do that as often as I should, definitely!

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

Oh, now people watching? That's my thing. But buying things? Meh.

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

But see, you're "tinted pink," which equals adorable always. I'm "sauce" which just equals blehhhh all the time, no no accessories needed ;) ha!

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

I loved this! #'s 3 and 13 are the best :) ha!

He usually agrees... most of the time :)

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

Yay! That makes me so happy! Schedule next Thursday's to be a T13 to go up at 6:30!!

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

Oh man, I WANT to live in Florida NOW! If you ever want to do a T13 post, just link it back up in the comments :) would love to read yours!

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

Oh this makes me so happy! Lists are the best too... it's a little more info about the person each week! I think I'm going to be doing it weekly now, so if you ever want to join or comment back with your own 13 things, I would love to read :) Yay!

Hi! I am clicking over here from Story of My Life. I'm from Boise, too, so that's what immediately caught my attention! :) I love this post. Is it okay if I steal it and link back to you? I had a friend one time tell me that it's almost more important to be sure of what you are not than to be sure of what you are...sometimes I think that's true.

Laura at Howdy Girl said...

I'll figure out a way to get up there! It just might take me a few years! :P

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

Um, and we can tell! You have the most AMAZING style!

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

I feel that pressure, too, Lily! Don't worry. It's not just you! The idea of "simple" in our society is unfortunately not as loved as it used to be! Everything has to be more more more. Stay true to you... you're beautiful!

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

aw, thanks so much liz! so good to hear from you. i can't believe how long it's been!

i'm gonna be checking in on you! glad to hear you are good :) life is great here!

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

They sure are! Best husband name ever!

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

Don't feel silly! Ha! You mean it didn't click that it was a T13?

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

Oh thanks! I like to refresh past archives sometimes because I feel there are some important posts... also, I don't want to re-write them :)

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

Seems like NO ONE makes their bed. Maybe I need to be a little more lax? :)

Annelise @ Aunie Sauce said...

Hey Sharlee! Yayyy Boise unite! OF COURSE you can use this idea. I'd love to see your link for that post if you'd want to share it, too :) And again... yayyy Boise! I wonder if we have run into each other!
