This weekend was a blur.
Go. Go. Go.
Friday, we went to a wedding at a garden in Emmett.
(And yes, I enjoyed cake before the wedding. I needed a snack!)
It was super hot, but so fun.
I busted out my dancing skills, which pretty much cleared the dance floor,
hammed it up at the photobooth,
and shared a slow dance with Daniel.
What a beautiful evening it was.
Saturday, I watched Daniel play softball with the Air Guard team,
ate a delicious heaping portion of sushi,
and watched a Steven Seagal movie.
Sunday was all about church,
lunch out with everyone,
beach volleyball, park football,
playing with the cutest chihuahua/corgi puppy I've ever seen,
eating peanut butter pie for dinner,
and finally taking a moment to answer emails.
I always remember summers as being the time to relax.
Enjoy the weather.
These days, Daniel and I just can't seem to slow down for a moment.
My end-of-summer goals include the following:
Appreciate the small things.
Try to not get frustrated when I take 5 days to answer emails.
Don't spend all my time behind a computer screen.
Take in every moment with a smile.
Live in the moment.
Forget plans... just live.
