That one moment...

Jacket: Express // Top: Nordy's Rack // Shorts: Nordy's Rack // Shoes: Target (similar) // Jewelry: Premier Design // Leather ring: Payton Woodcraft

I keep waiting for that one moment.
That one chance encounter.

When I'm in a coffee shop.
On a ferry.
Boarding a plane.
Making a pit stop at a rest area.
Grocery shopping.
At the mall.

When I run into a blogger I follow.

Would that be crazy or what?

I mean... running into one of my faves out on the street?
That would be too cool.

But what about even the reverse situation...
a person who follows me and recognizes me out on the street?

Since there are hardly any local Boise, Idaho bloggers,
(but a shout out to the few I have emailed back and forth with)
I assume it will have to be at an airport.
Or on a subway.
Or in Times Square.

Because I go there often,
you know.

Maybe... just maybe someday it will happen.
Until then?
Fingers crossed.

PS> Wanna see how many bloggers are from your state? Go say hi to Shane here!

I've had these same thoughts! Especially when I was visiting Austin -- there are about a million bloggers there, I was sure I'd randomly recognize someone walking down the street and realize I stalk their life.. err read their blog.

I know!!!! The whole time I was in Miami I was like....hmmm maybe.

And then last night I had a dream that I met Kristen from Kristen's Confessions.

I feel the same way...but then I think that I don't want to be that "crazy girl" who walks up to a (sort of) perfect stranger...but I would probably do it anyway!

I have only met up with one fellow blogger ever, but let me tell you, it was so fun! I loved getting to meet her, sit down to dinner with her it was great, but having it happen randomly would be really cool! =)

I was just in Boise last week ALL week for a wedding and I didnt realize you lived there! And I didnt happen to run into you at a coffee shop or at the mall :) for some reason I thought you lived in Utah... maybe because almost every blogger lives in Utah haha.

I think the same thing! "I wonder if anyone around here reads my blog and would know me on the streets." There aren't any bloggers in my town, but there are a few within a couple of hours from here! Maybe one day! :)

I think about this too! Funny thing, I Think about it in traffic a lot. I always get nervous when I cut someone off or someone is racing to get around me that suddenly I'll shoot them a glare and it will my a fave local blogger, lol!!!

This has actually happened to me - in a Hobby Lobby! I rarely go to Hobby Lobby but I was there a few months ago and it turns out that one of my favorite bloggers lives about an hour away from me! It was so fun!

I would LOVE to run into you some time!

I too have thought about this! There aren't many bloggers in Kansas but if I were to travel more I'm sure I would run into someone. Or at least I hope! That would be such a fun moment!

There are a few Toronto bloggers I follow and whenever I pass the CBC building (news) I always look for one that I know works there...sounds creepy but we're connected on LinkedIn so it's not :)

I was actually participating in a Melanoma Awareness 5K in May 6 hours from my town when a lady came up to me and introduced herself. She said she reads my blog and it had helped her with dark days. What an honor!

Maybe I'll see you in Time Square sometime! :-)

Someone came up to me today at the restaurant I work and and recognized ME. it was such a cool experience. I never thought I'd get recognized considering I live on a little tiny island miles from civilization aha.

I did have this happen one time, but not in the way like you're meaning. It was actually my next-door-neighbor, who I was friendly to but we weren't really friends persay. Then one she said something like, "Oh so I read on your blog that…" and I got this panicked feeling all of a sudden, realizing that someone who I didn't realize was watching my life really was watching it. Such a weird feeling.
